Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how VoxForge ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our ebook-to-audiobook service.

Information We Collect

1. Account information — your name and email address, collected when you create an account.
2. Uploaded content — the ebook or text files you upload, the reference audio you submit for voice cloning, and the audiobook audio we generate from them.
3. Usage data — basic logs (render jobs, errors, timestamps) needed to operate the render queue.
4. Payment data — handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card details.

How Your Content Is Processed

To turn your ebook into an audiobook, your text and audio are processed by the following sub-processors:

• Self-hosted text-to-speech (our own GPU server) — speech synthesis and voice cloning run on infrastructure we operate directly. Your text and reference audio are sent there to generate audio.
• DeepSeek — we send book text to DeepSeek's API to detect dialogue and assign it to speakers (character casting). No account or payment data is sent.
• Cloudflare R2 — uploaded files, reference audio, and rendered audiobooks are stored in object storage.
• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing (for Pro and Lifetime purchases).
• Resend — transactional email (verification, receipts).

We do not use your uploaded books or audio to train models, and we do not sell your data.

Data Retention

You can delete your books, voices, and rendered audio at any time from your account. Deleting your account removes your uploaded and generated content from our storage.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data by contacting us. Where applicable (GDPR/CCPA), you may also object to or restrict processing.
